Since 1986 Fayette Cares, a community-supported, non-profit organization, has served the residents of Fayette County by empowering those in need with hope, independence and lasting solutions. Once regarded as one of the poorest counties in the nation, Fayette County is now the fastest growing county in Tennessee.
Last year Fayette Cares reached out to over 800 households in turmoil by providing:
Emergency Food and Shelter Services
Domestic Violence Intervention
Clothing and Household Necessities Assistance
Rent and Utility Aid
Enrichment Opportunities for Families In Financial Crisis
Guided by the vision of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, Fayette Cares is working to meet the rapidly increasing demands of a growing county.
Fayette Cares has successfully united a diverse community of donors and volunteers to provide immediate refuge from hunger, fear, and uncertainty. The six member staff relies on over 5,000 annual volunteer hours to empower families toward self-sufficiency. Gifts from caring individuals, like you, make up a majority of the support that allows the doors of Fayette Cares to remain open for those in crisis.
