An exciting new ministry has begun here at FUMC. It is the Prayer Ministry Team. Leading the PMT is Jeannie and Tom Day. Tom and Jeannie have experienced the power of God's love through the prayers of others in their lives. One of their first goals is to network a prayer chain so that we can quickly activate a ministry of prayer across the congregation. Each Sunday School Class will have a representative who will link the class to the prayer chain. If you are not in a Sunday School Class but would like to be a part of the prayer chain, please call the church office and leave your name and phone number.

Prayer request cards are being printed which will be available in the back of the pews and at other locations. There will also be a ministry of writing notes to let people know they are being prayed for. If you would like to be a part of any of these ministries or have ideas you would like to share with the PMT, please call Jeanne Day at 465-8647.
